We are pleased to announce the 1st international conference HEAVY CASPIAN & Offshore was held on 11th and 12th October 2011 at Ambassador Hotel Baku, Baku, Azerbaijan.

Active offshore development in Caspian Sea brought about rapid development of oil and gas industry and associated infrastructure in area countries. All this calls for execution of complex projects related to delivery and erection of drilling platforms, embankments, oil refineries, pipelines, etc. At the same time, logistics of Caspian region has a number of distinguishing geographical, political and administrative features. The conference will highlight all aspects of heavy-lift transport and logistics.

Delegates are free to discuss the following key issues:

  • Delivery of heavy-lift cargoes to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, comparison of transport routes;
  • Offshore vessels and facilities;
  • Is there any alternative to Volga-Don Canal?
