The cause of the a340 crash in Toronto could be an inaccurate landing. History

Parallel design meant reducing the cost of developing a new line of aircraft. Germany fully supported the plans of Airbus & the national carrier Lufthansa volunteered to become the starting customer for the new aircraft.
